Title: An Adjustable Amplifier for Capacitive ECG Registration Keywords: capacitive ECG, cECG, capacitive electrodes, ECG front-end, Abstract: The recording of the electrical activity of the heart using capacitive electrodes has been the subject of permanent interest by researchers because of the undisputable advantage in terms of convenience for the patient compared to the widely used techniques using conventional electrodes. This paper presents a variant of an analog input amplifier in which, unlike existing similar implementations, it is possible to change the amplification depending on the electrode capacitance, as well as to realize continuous automatic suppression of the DC offset at the input of the amplifier. The results of simulation studies performed in an LTspice are presented, as well as signals recorded by a volunteer. The ability to automatically adjust the DC offset at the amplifier input allows the use of a low supply voltage, which is important for applications in portable stand-alone devices. References Issue
