Abstract: Current sources are applicable in various applications. Variety of schemes are well known and used for light emitting diodes (LEDs) supplying devices. In this paper it is presented the mathematical approach for choosing the key elements of high frequency resonant current source of LCL type and realized by a scheme of “Boucherot type”, applicable as LED luminaires, supply and other applications, requiring constant current. A practical simulation model is proposed for investigation of the received load characteristics
