Title: Modeling of Microfluidic Cell with Electrodes for Impedance Measurements Keywords: Computational fluid dynamics, Electrodes, Equivalent circuit Abstract: In this work is presented computational fluid dynamics modeling of a microfluidic cell with electrodes for impedance measurements. Internal channels cross-section architecture is considered according to fluid dynamic pressure drop and capillary resistance. Results for fluid flow dynamics in the microfluidic cell are acquired and presented. Considerations on electrodes design and contact surface are made according to equivalent circuit model of the mixing chamber of the fluidic cell. Numerical results about expected impedance of NaCl solution are obtained and presented. References Issue
