Abstract: Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) initiatives involve a huge amount of learners over the world proposing achievement of new knowledge or advancing in a given subject. A wide variety of MOOCs platforms hosting free courses are established offering different technology tools in support of teaching and learning. The paper presents a comparison of MOOCs platforms analyzing the available technology approaches facilitating design of multifarious learning scenarios.
