Abstract: The world is changing. Everything is evolving, technologies too. The future promises a cleaner and nicer world thanks to ITS (Intelligent transport systems). The day is approaching when autonomous cars will be driving on the streets. The VANET network, which is part of the ITS, was designed for this purpose. The main idea is to increase road safety. Routing protocols are very important to any network because the connection establishment depends on them. In the present work, two routing protocols used in VANET are examined and compared. These are MTP and TORA.
