Benchmarking is an approach of management where one's own (the enterprise's) objectives (functions, processes, etc.) are compared with the leaders in the sector of the industry, as well as outside. The purpose of the present report is to clarify the points of reference for the realization of effective benchmarking within the enterprise in view of its application in management.
