Title: Fluid Flow Modeling in 3D Printed CO2 Absorption Air Contactor

Abstract: CO2 capturing and removal are energy consuming processes, of separation of free air where decomposition can be intensified in volumetric cells, called air contactors, where components are effectively separated. In this work is presented 3D printed CO2 absorption air contactor with increased high specific absorption internal surface. Modeling of internal fluid flow into the internal contactor structure is made and considerations according to aerodynamic pressure drop and air velocities are made. Results for airflow dynamics in the contactor chamber are acquired and presented.
