Abstract: In the paper the approach, preliminary proposed in [1] to predict the first order dynamic circuit steady state DC response, is additionally extended. It is based on the direct application of the Least Square Method (LSM), by processing of only a short sequence of experimental data obtained at the beginning of the transient exponential process investigation. It has been shown how to complete the experiment at its initial stage with acceptable result. This can reduce significantly both the experimental time and energy resources. The developed software can help the user to manage and stop the experiment. It is based on Scilab software platform, which facilitates the mathematical algorithm already proposed.
