Title: MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS LABORATORY MANUAL (PART 1)
Keywords: measurement systems

Abstract: Modern industrial processes rely on feedback to control different manufacturing parameters. To have an effective control on them information measurement systems (IMS) are used as a source of data. Basically, a measurement system consists of one or more sensors which convert a true value of the measured quantity into an uncompensated sensor output signal. This signal has to be processed before it is presented and used to control a manufacturing process. A variety of modules will do many diferent converions and calculations during the signal processing. Thus, the comunication between all modules also has a significant impact on the correct functioning of the entire system. This manual is intended to help students at the English Language Faculty of Engineering at the Technical University of Sofia in solving problems in Measurement Systems.
