Title: STUDY OF THE CHANGE OF ACOUSTIC PRESSURE IN AN ACOUSTIC BARRIER ELEMENT IN THE FORM OF A LOGARITHMIC SPIRAL

Abstract: The article examines the change in the level of sound pressure in a characteristic zone in an element of an acoustic barrier in the form of a logarithmic spiral at different one-third octave frequencies (from 100 Hz to 2000 Hz). The change in the sound pressure level in the area located at the end of the spiral is studied. The aim of the study is to determine the most effective values of the parameters of the logarithmic spiral providing the highest sound pressure level in the measured area. In this way it will be determined at which parameters of the logarithmic spiral the highest efficiency of a device for generating electricity from acoustic noise placed in this zone will be ensured. The study was conducted in a Comsol environment. The results were analysed and the relevant conclusions were made.
