Заглавие: Study of the Influence of Combinations of Modifiers on the Structure and Mechanical Properties of AlSi18Cu5Mg Alloy Used in Tribological System
Ключови думи: hypereutectic aluminum-silicon alloy, complex modification,

Абстракт: The following combinations of modifiers - Ti and B; Be, Ti and B; P, Ti and B - have been used to modify the aluminum-silicon alloy AlSi18Cu5Mg within this study with the aim to refine both the primary and eutectic silicon crystals in the alloy structure. This implies an increase in the strength and hardness, as well as in the wear resistance of the studied composition. The combination of the modifiers P, Ti and B has been found to have the best effect on the structure and the strength characteristics of the AlSi18Cu5Mg alloy.
