Title: Computer Based System for Automated Calibration of Measuring Devices

Abstract: The paper describes a computerized system based on modern virtual technologies. The system includes hardware components as calibrator (METRIX CX1651), personal computer (PC), and measuring devise to be calibrated. The acquisition of data obtained during the calibration process is achieved by LabVIEW instrumental driver. The information is stored in the PC memory and is processed to obtain the uncertainty of the measuring device under calibration. All necessary operations are automated and performed according to the EURAMET guidelines. The operational algorithm of the system is presented.
