Abstract: Finite element modelling of three types of electromagnets for Braille screen is presented. The first one is simple cylindrical core and coil system with a ferromagnetic sphere above it. The second one is the same as the first one but the ferromagnetic sphere is replaced by a semispherical permanent magnet. The third variant is a construction with three permanent magnets All types of electromagnets are sub-ject to patent claims. Practical applicability of the different construc-tions is discussed.
