Autors: Daneva, M. I. Title: Methodology of Computer Modelling in Primary Education - ICT Specialists or Primary Teachers Keywords: competences, computer modelling, information technology, primary school teachers, regulatory requirementsAbstract: This article explores the conflict between the regulatory requirements for the training of primary school teachers to deliver the subject 'Computer Modelling' in Bulgarian primary schools and the lack of methodological preparation among student teachers. Based on empirical data and a theoretical-normative review, the article argues for the urgent need to integrate methodological training into bachelor's degree programs at higher education institutions preparing primary teachers, in order to ensure age-appropriate and digitally competent teaching.
