Title: Making Informed Decisions in Infrared Thermography Testing of Batteries
Keywords: battery, design of experiments, infrared thermography, nondestructive evaluation, trade-off analysis

Abstract: Infrared thermography has established itself as a effective non-destructive, non-contact technique for monitoring the thermal behavior of batteries in real time. The article discusses the application of two particularly valuable tools - Trade-off Analysis and Design of Experiments - for making informed decisions when performing thermographic testing of batteries to assess both their quality in the production process and their condition and performance during operation under different operating conditions.
