Abstract: This article examines how effective collaboration between teachers and parents can support the development of inclusive education in early childhood and primary school. Based on contemporary pedagogical theories and key regulatory frameworks—such as the Bulgarian Preschool and School Education Act—it argues that teachers play a crucial role in building meaningful partnerships with families. Their responsibilities extend beyond classroom instruction to include informing, involving, and empowering parents as equal participants in the educational process. Two practical examples are presented: one from the early childhood development group “Mecho Puh” at Kindergarten “Milin Kamak” in Nova Zagora, and another from Primary School “Hristo Botev”. Both demonstrate effective strategies for involving parents through communication, joint activities, and parent education.
