Title: Regression Analysis of Failures of Signalling Systems Equipment
Keywords: least squares method, Pearson-Bravais correlation coefficient, railway signalling systems, Regression analysis

Abstract: This report presents the processes of performing regression analysis of equipment failures in signalling systems. The least squares method is analyzed, with the help of which the regression equation can be calculated. A scatter diagram is used to generate a correlation field, as well as the CORREL function built into MS EXCEL to calculate the Pearson-Bravais correlation coefficient.
