Abstract: The paper presents a long-term data about the deterioration of a standard illuminant A, used as reference spectra for calibration and measurement procedures, that assure measurement traceability and high accuracy. Besides the measurement data, statistical analysis is made about the expected deterioration of the lamp. The results have very high practical value.
