Autors: Stoev, P. I., Matanov, N. S. Title: Analysis of the Performance of a Mini Photovoltaic System for the Household Keywords: bill saving PV system, distributed generation, mini photovoltaic installationAbstract: The article presents a microgrid model (one household) with roof-mounted photovoltaic panels connected to a grid-tied mini-inverter. The performance of the system, using annual consumption schedules, is analyzed. The objective is to use the model to evaluate the impact of different factors on the system operation and its economic efficiency. An assessment of the net savings for two options of building the system was made, one with own funds and the other with credit. The photovoltaic system is designed to reduce electricity bills rather than to cover the entire electricity consumption. References - P. Stoev, N. Matanov and P.
