Title: Induced voltage in a disconnected grounded conductor of a three-phase electric power line
Keywords: disconnected phase conductor, electrical safety, induced voltage, three-phase electric power line

Abstract: The paper studies the magnitude of the voltage, induced in a disconnected grounded conductor of an overhead power line by the unbroken conductors. The electromagnetic fields, generated by overhead power lines, are considered. The factors, influencing the magnitude of the induced voltage, are described. A methodology for calculating the contact voltages and the magnitude of the electric current through a human body with the grounded phase conductor disconnected is presented. A numerical experiment is carried out to determine the voltage, induced by the functioning conductors and the current through a human being when a phase conductor is disconnected from a three-phase power line with rated voltage of 20 kV.
