Title: Correction of Colorimetric Measurement Results by Means of Color Filters– Case Study
Keywords: chromaticity coordinates of traffic signs, color filters, colorimetric measurement

Abstract: The paper presents an experimental study on the chromaticity shift of traffic signs under different measurement conditions. For the measurement a calibrated colorimeter and standard white are used as well as color filters with different spectral transmittance. The colorimetric measurement is carried out for four different traffic sign foil samples – red, green, blue, and yellow with known chromaticity coordinates and reflection factor with and without the additional filtration of the light of the standard illuminant of the colorimeter.
