Title: Measurement of Sn Soldering Contact Resistance in Liquid Nitrogen Keywords: contact resistance, HTS tape wire, liquid nitrogen, soldering, superconductivityAbstract: In this work are experimentally estimated the Sn soldering contact resistance at the interface zone between copper wires and copper plate and high-temperature superconducting GdBCO plates. The electric contact is made by Sn alloys soldering. The different soldering alloys are tested directly in liquid nitrogen environment. Results on volumetric and contact resistance are presented at 77 K and 293 K. Applicability of these results is in soldering technology of HTS superconductors with non-superconducting wires.
