Abstract: In this paper we report the result of the visualization of the nanosecond laser generated ablation plasma and visualization of the sound wave created during plasma expansion. The visualization was done by capturing the series of time-resolved images of both plasma and sound wave. Using captured images the initial velocity of the plasma was found to vary from 6· 103 m/s to 7· 103 m/s depending on the laser fluence. The initial velocity of the sound wave also vary with laser fluence.
