Abstract: Digitalization is an inevitable part of everyday life and permeates almost every aspect of human life. However, this digital engagement increases vulnerability to abuse, creating an urgent need for robust measures to improve cyber security. The rapid pace of technology development cannot always be caught up by cyber security innovation. The implementation of reliable protection methods is often neglected by developers, and the leakage of personal data as well as its sale is a pressing issue worldwide. This paper examines the application of the Zero Trust paradigm in the context of instant messaging communication, offering a potential solution to current problems in this area. Additionally, this report demonstrates that applying the Zero Trust paradigm to instant communication significantly improves security measures, effectively reducing the risks associated with data leakage and unauthorized access.
