Title: Choosing a Strategy for Time-limited Designing of Power Distribution Grids With Consideration of Mode Constraints
Keywords: development strategies, limitations, medium voltage distribution network, short-term planning

Abstract: methodology for time-limited designing of medium voltage power grids with joined sources of renewable energy is discussed in this publication, considering limitations of mode nature. The methodology comprises the following chosen criteria: Minimum costs; minimal power losses, and minimum amount of undelivered electricity. The developed strategies contain different options for building decentralized energy sources and comparing their power with the load power in the connected branch. Different scenarios are considered for each strategy. Calculations are performed for each strategy and each scenario, taking into account the stages of introducing the decentralized energy sources into the connected branch. The limitations of mode nature in the methodology concern the permissible magnitudes of the currents in the branches, the values of the voltages in the nodes and the deteriorated quality indicators of the electricity, produced by the decentralized energy sources. Results from the implementation of the methodology for short-term planning of medium voltage distribution networks with connected decentralized energy sources are analyzed.
