Abstract: The paper presents the development of a model in a simulation environment for the operation of a microgrid with a battery energy storage and fuel cell system as a balancing power source. The model is used for the assessment of the system's operational parameters and allows improvement of the system design for better coordination when integrating multiple power sources.
