Abstract: The article presents a statistical study to assess the adequacy of the technological object through the toolkit of regression analysis. A general population consists of ten observations for which two parameters are known - the specific consumption of electrical energy and the produced output. Pearson's correlation coefficient and Student's test are used to assess adequacy. Through them, the equation of the line and the coefficient of determination are obtained. Through the modeling and simulation of the input variables in a mathematical environment, a confirmation of the calculation procedure is obtained, which is proof of the adequacy of the model.
